9.0     Manage Trials

A trial represents a study. A trial can contain many instances of each object type (built and defined in TrialBuilder).

Only admin users and non-admin (regular) users  with the appropriate permissions can manage trials:

·        Non-admin users may build trials in TrialBuilder, conduct trials in TrialMaster, and manage versions, depending on the  permissions assigned by their administrators via the Users page. (See Assign Trials to a User for instructions.)

·        Organization Admins can only manage trials in their organization(s) whereas Global Admins can manage trials in any organization. (See Global Admin Permission Rules and Organization Admin Permission Rules for details about admin permissions.)

You can manage trials in the following ways:

·        View trials

·        Add a trial

·        Edit a trial

·        Build a trial

·        Conduct a trial

·        View and manage versions

·        Configure trial

·        Assign users to a trial

·        Duplicate a trial

·        Take a trial offline/put back online

·        Lock/unlock a trial

·        View the history of a trial

·        Perform bulk operations (to delete/undelete one or more trials)
