13.3.5     Global Admin Permission Rules

Global Admin users have full access to all functionality, which includes the ability to:

·        Manage all users including themselves. If editing their own user account, they can only change the data in the Primary Organization field and User Information section in the Edit User dialog. (See Edit a User.)

·        Create/edit any user including other Global Admins, Organization Admins, and non-admin users.

·        View all menu options and manage those options.

·        Assign any user including Organization Admins and non-admin users to any organization.

o        Users can have only one primary organization, which is assigned to the user when the user is added. However, the Global Admin may change the user's primary organization via the Edit User dialog.

o        Global Admins have a primary organization, but they can manage any organization.

·        Give access permissions to any non-admin user to any trial. Trial access permissions include: Builder, Conduct, Active Conduct, Read Only, and MSC (Mid-Study Change)

 

Note: Trial access permissions are not needed for admin users. Global Admins can access any trial, while Organization Admins can access all trials that belong to organizations they are managing.
