You can assign one or more trials to a user with one of the following permissions:
· All – allows access to all functionality in AnjuEDC, TrialBuilder, and TrialMaster
· Builder – allows access to the Build link of the Trials page, where the user can access, build, and design a trial. (See Build a Trial for instructions on building a trial.)
· Conduct – allows access to the Conduct link of the Trials page. This permission must be combined with Active Conduct permission for the user to access the trial in TrialMaster. (See Edit Permissions for a Trial for more information about permissions and Conduct a Trial for instructions on conducting a trial.)
· Read Only – allows access to the Build link of the Trials page, so the user to can view the trial in TrialBuilder in Read-Only mode.
· MSC – allows access to the Versions link of the Trials page, so the user can access the Copy, Import, Publish, Export, Unlock, and Differences links of the Versions page. This permission does not include access to the Config and Duplicate link. (See View and Manage Versions for more information.)
To assign trials to a user:
1. Access the Users page. (See View Users for guidance.)
2. Click the Assign Trials link of the applicable user under the Action column.
The Assign Trials dialog displays.
3. Do the following to complete the dialog:
· Select the check box(es) of the applicable trials to be assigned.
· Select one of the following permissions from the Assign drop-down list: All, Builder, Conduct, Read Only, or MSC. (Selecting Conduct assigns both Conduct and Active Conduct permissions.)
· Click the Assign button. A message displays at the top of the page, confirming the trial permissions were assigned successfully. A check mark displays in the column of the allowed permission. The example above shows that the Test51067 trial has Builder permission, trial TM_Trial_B has Conduct permission, and Trial_A has MSC permission.
4. To edit the permissions of a specific user, see Edit Permissions for a Trial.
Notes:
· You can also assign users to a trial via the Assign Users link in the Trials page.
· The Environment key in the AnjuEDC.exe.config file determines whether access to the Build link in the Trials page can be granted. If the value of the key is “Production”, the Build link does not display in the Trials page.
