7.5.3      View Casebook

When designing a form, you can view the way it displays in the Casebook.

 

Note: The output directory for the casebook must be specified in AnjuEDC global configuration settings (Setup > Settings).

To view a casebook:

1.       Access the Forms page (see View Forms for guidance.)

2.      Under the Action column, click the Casebook link of the applicable form.

The blank Casebook dialog displays.

3.       Select the path where the form exists from the Execute From drop-down list. (The last item in the path is the form itself).

4.      Select one or more of the following options:

·         Include Annotations: displays additional details about each iCRF item (field), including caption name, SAS name, SAS type, field length, and field type.

·         Include Codelists: includes codelists associated with a field/question.

·         Apply the paper size to landscape oriented pages only

·         Transpose (combine) all data and labels into 1 column

·         Paper Size (Letter, Legal, or Custom): Width and Height fields below are automatically populated if you select Letter or Legal. If you select Custom, enter the Width and Height in inches.

5.       Click the View button.

The Casebook PDF displays below the dialog.

6.      Click the Maximize icon at the top right of the window to view all options provided in the PDF toolbar:

7.       Click the Close button at the top right of the window to close the dialog and casebook PDF.

Rotates the PDF

Maximizes the page width of the PDF. Click  to return to the default page width.

Allows you to view a single page or 2-pages at a time.

Enables audio that reads the PDF aloud.

Enables you to add and text to the PDF and change size and spacing

Allows you to draw freehand on the PDF. Click the drop-down arrow to select a color.

Allows you to highlight areas on the PDF. Click the drop-down arrow to select a color.

Allows you to erase drawn and highlighted areas on the PDF.

Allows you to draw or erase using a finger or stylus on your screen.

Prints the PDF

Saves the PDF

 

Pins the toolbar so that it always remains visible on the PDF. Click this icon again to unpin the toolbar.
