13.1    Edit Check Warnings Report

This report shows edit checks that were set up in TrialBuilder that may not work properly or may cause conflicts. Each report generates an Excel (.xls) file  with tabs for each set of findings.

The report is generated as an .XLS file that you can open to view the results.

Examples of candidate edit check warnings:

·        DVA (Data Value Advice) and DVC (Data Value Change):

o        If target items have both a DVA and DVC

o        If target items on any level on the same path (Patient/Visit/Form/Group/Item) have more than 1 DVC/DVA

·        DVA and required/enabled

·        Hidden and Hidden Disabled defined for the same target

·        Multiple property edits defined for the same target on the same level

·        Circular reference {Source}[Target] -  Applicable to {DVA, DVC} {DVA},{DVC},  {Disabled-Hidden (Group/Item), DVA/DVC}, {Enabled (Group/Item), DVA/DVC}, {Caption change}

To manage the Edit Check Warnings report:

1.       Click the    Main Menu icon (top left).

2.      Go to the Reports menu.

The Reports page displays a list of reports.

3.       Click the Edit Check Warnings link and then click on the Excel file name at the bottom of  the page.

4.      Click on the title to view the report.

The report displays details about each edit check warning. The report may contain one or more worksheets for each error category:

·         DVx (DVA and DVC) edit check warnings

·         Hidden edit check warnings

·         Property edit check warnings

·         DVx (DVA/DVC) circuity edit check warnings
