10.1.3     Edit the Mapping of CodeList Items

You can map ICH E2B controlled CodeList and CodeList items with the Protocol CodeList, controlled CodeLists, and CodeList items.

Note: This is either a 1:1 relationship or a many:1 relationship between the TrialMaster CodeList and the export CodeList.

To edit the mapping of CodeList items:

1.       Access the Map CodeLists page. (See View CodeList Items for guidance.)

2.      Click Edit CodeList Items icon of the applicable CodeList item.

The Map CodeList Items dialog displays.

3.       Do one of the following to complete the dialog:

·         To edit a specific unit, click the applicable Edit CodeList icon and make you changes in the Map CodeList Item dialog. Then click one of the following buttons:

o      Save – to save the current mapping. The Map CodeList Item dialog re-displays with the new mapping, and a confirmation message displays at the top of the dialog.

o      Save & Next – to save the current mapping and move to the next CodeList item and map it. You may continue with this save option until finished mapping all CodeList items. When finished, click the Cancel button to exit the dialog and view the changes.

·       Click the Automap button to automatically map all E2B items. Click the Close button to exit the dialog.
